We invite you to take part in our gastronomic tour. In addition to the many culinary dishes that you will taste during the tour, you will also visit many places of interest in Armenia, and if your visit coincides with the harvest time (from June 10 to October 10), you can also participate in the harvest events. Within the framework of the tour you will taste the Armenian national bread - lavash, which, as a cultural heritage of Armenia, is included in the UNESCO representative list of intangible cultural heritage of mankind. Thus, on November 26, 2014, at the 9th meeting of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in Paris [48], a decision was made to include in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity the Armenian representation (application [49]) – “Lavash - traditional bread making, its significance and cultural manifestations in Armenia”. You will also make and try delicious Artsakh “Jingyalov” bread, which includes seven types of greens. Armenian cuisine is distinguished by its delicious, at the same time healthy dishes, which are prepared from locally produced healthy products grown in ecologically clean conditions in Armenia. In our kitchen there are also delicious dishes for those guests who prefer vegetarian food. Together with us you will taste your own hand-made kebab made of mutton, beef, pork, rabbit, Sevan whitefish and trout, grilled potatoes in coals, cooked delicious stew/khashlama, you’ll taste yogurt and cheese made of goat, sheep, cow, buffalo milk to compare and distinguish the tastes. If you wish, you can take part in the milking ceremony, we will get butter and buttermilk by the old method of beating the sour cream in a khnotsi, we will make a variety of dolma, we will visit restaurants, taverns, gastro-yards. We will cook assortment of healthy, delicious dishes of Armenian kitchen, with its unique taste and smell, in the Nature. At the same time, we will visit museums, castles, churches, ancient monastery centers, 4th century monasteries, more than 10 cities and 40 villages, communicate with hospitable Armenians, who will share with you their warmth, light of soul, secrets of ancient Armenian cuisine and other tricks. Day 1 - We welcome and meet you at Zvartnots International Airport, Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, one of the oldest countries in the world, with a history of more than 2800 years. We settle in the hotel and go to a festive dinner, on the occasion of your arrival, to the Armenian national song and dance, to get acquainted with the Armenian cuisine beforehand.
